| Now Is A Good Time To Buy A House |
If you have been holding back on buying real estate, now may be the right time to get back into the market, especially if you are looking for a good deal, or you have poor credit. Because of the real estate slow down, prices have dropped in many areas. There are also a lot of sellers who need to sell and might be willing to help out someone with bad credit. But this slow down shows signs of picking up.
According to The National Association of Realtor's, their latest report indicates that pending home sales are up (according to the figures for August) |
by 4.3 percent. This number is still 14.1 percent lower than last August, but it gives the experts reasons to predict that the market is stabilizing.
NAR's chief economist, David Lereah, said recently, "Our sense is that home sales may have reached a low in August -- the Pending Home Sales Index shows home sales should be fairly stable over the next two months, although a minor decline is possible. With fewer new listings coming on the market, we should be able to draw down the inventory supply early next year to the point where home prices will rise, but |

at a slower pace than historic norms."
