JOIN THE "FOR SALE BY OWNER" REVOLUTION

Everyone would like to save those big commission dollars and sell "By Owner." Unfortunately, while many homeowners have tried this, most have failed. But now it is a real option! In fact, your success is all but guaranteed, when you take advantage of the revolution in For Sale By Owner (FSBO) real estate and combine it with the marketing firepower of "owner financing."
The Revolution
A.D. Little Company, in its 1999 survey for National Association of Realtors, shocked the industry. It predicted that in this decade the number of FSBOs will double to 40% of available homes, up from less than 20% around 10 years ago. This amounts to nothing less than a revolution!
It means that the role of today's real estate agent will be largely transformed from commissioned salesperson to fee-paid consultant. This will result in the conversion of the realtor's traditional one-size-fits-all commission-based service into a reinvented a la carte menu of fee-based services. In fact this is already happening.
The Driving Force
What is driving this? It is all about the knowledge available to the home seller on the Internet. The broad message is: "If you want to sell By Owner, you now have all the information you need to do it successfully."
Knowledge is power and the power has shifted to the FSBO seller. Until recently, the real estate community had all the power because it had a virtual lock on the information necessary for successful home selling. This is not to say that selling "by owner" was impossible. It was just very difficult. This was due to lack of ready access to information. But now things are different.
