Grey Towers National Historic Site, Milford, Pa. Call 570-296-9630 or visit www.fs.fed.us/na/gt. Tours given daily on the hour, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. May 26-Oct. 28 and 1 and 3 p.m. weekends. Regular tour fees apply. Grounds are free and open to pedestrians from dawn to dusk daily. Event schedule:
- Family forestry trail hike, 1 p.m. June 2. Join naturalist on forestry trail, learn about forest ecosystem, forestry, and some history of estate. Open to all ages. Half-mile trail, not suitable for strollers. Free.
- Outdoor concert, 5:30 p.m. June 9. Sponsored by the Milford Music Festival and Kindred Spirits Arts program. Art exhibit opening, 4-5 p.m. Free. Accompanied by a Landscape Photography Art Exhibit and reception, sponsored by Friends of Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.
- Reading Ranger: Children’s literary and crafts program, 10 a.m. Thursdays, June 14-Aug. 2. Story hour and craft activity teaches about nature. Ages 4-9. Parents/guardians must stay with child. Pre-registration required. Free.
- Architecture Tour, 1:30 p.m. June 16. Learn about unique architectural details of Grey Towers. Regular tour fees apply.
- Invasives in our Forests, 1 p.m. June 23. Discover problems caused by invasive plants in forests and help remove some growing on Forestry Trail. Free.
- Come paint with me, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. June 28. Landscape painting program. Free. Call 570-775-6898.

- Sundays for singles hiking, 10 a.m.-noon June 3. For those over 18 who love nature. Bring bag lunch. $3 members, $5 non-members.
- Wednesday walk, 10 a.m.-noon June 13. Casual walk explores natural history on easy to moderate trails. $3 members, $5 non-members.
- Summer survivor trek, 9 a.m.-noon June 17. Class shows how to escape sizzling heat of summer and prevent moisture loss and heat exhaustion. $3 members, $5 non-members.
- Summer foraging weekend, June 22-24. Search for summer vegetables, berries and mushrooms; multi-media presentations, foraging discussions, wild food cooking session. $150 member, $160 non-member; non-lodging, $90 members, $100 non-members.
- The Tea Garden, 1-3 p.m. June 16. Grow your own tea garden, learn healthful properties of herbs and many uses of herbal infusion. Learn how to grow, harvest, preserve, create herbal blends and store teas. $20 members, $25 non-members.
- Reptiles, noon-4 p.m. June 9. Indoor slide and live-animal presentation; field trip to search for snakes, turtles and lizards. Includes lunch with Naturalist John Serrao. $45 members, $50 non-members.
- Morning bird walks, 8-10 a.m. June 13. Learn fine art of birding. Bring field guides and binoculars. $3 members, $5 non-members.
- Equinox walk: Big Egypt Mills, 7-10 p.m. June 21. Casual 2.5 mile stroll follows dirt road alongside swamps, ponds and lakes. $3 members, $5 non-members.
- Climb the cliffs, 9 a.m.-noon June 27. Half-mile walk uphill and 2 miles of level terrain to towering shale cliff running between Raymondskill Falls and Milford. Not for those with fear of heights. Bring water and binoculars. $3 members, $5 non-members.
- Rockets Red Glare family nature weekend, June 29 July 2. Includes educational, social and recreational activities. Prices are per person. Lodging, $160 members, $175 non-members; non-lodging, $100 members, $115 non-members.
