Should humans have all the fun when it comes to vacationing? When humans head off for a holiday and need to board Spot or Fluffy, there are lots more options than just a bare-bones kennel.

Owners can check-in their beloved pets into spa-like facility that boast everything from home-cooked meals to pet massage, swimming pools and private suites.

Here's just a example of some of the comfy kennels and pet spas in our region that offer our four-legged friends an enjoyable change of scenery while we're away.

The spa also offers grooming, indoor and outdoor runs, and even TVs and VCRs so pets can hear comforting, familiar background sounds. Twice a week, pet guests receive a special "Continental barkfeast" of fresh scrambled eggs.
